This guy had a short life bought by a local surfer at right coast surf shop. As the story goes the board was a week old and the jersey juice was on, perfect 4 to 6 foot and then closeout. After surfacing and realizing the board was in two, I believe he did what most would do, hung it in his backyard. So I hear the story, see the board and the rest is a conjuring of two materials that were always together in a sense but never in this form. Yes bamboo and surfboards, Bamboo one of the hardest woods that’s not a wood and surfboards superlight but can handle the mass and inertia of breaking waves. This custom one of a kind neck is hand made with a relief cut, bamboo gusset, and carbon fiber reinforcement, super light and strong. This is a one of a kind envision that plays spectacular it is a prototype and takes an incredible amount of time to make, with many layers involved.
