salt creek A-frame SE

This is part of my SE series I call A-frame. Whatever, if your more comfortable with Vee then go for it. I do try to salvage as much of the surfboard as i can and sometimes I make repairs before i start shaping. I am so glad for the repairs because this is an absolute gem. Weighing just 5lbs its an absolute joy to play this neck was a little rounder than a typical newer strat and suits my hands perfectly. Once it was matched with a dimarzio Norton the symbiosis began, you can split the coil for strat tones or push for the slab on the outside. This was a donated board and the story is belonging to republic of surf. I am very grateful to the like minded people helping support a killer new way to repurpose a piece of material that has no were to go, until know.
